Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our Perth Airport team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and supporting our maintenance teams in their daily activities.

Salary

The salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionMain Responsibilities:
  • Support the Maintenance team with day-to-day operations and ongoing requirements;
  • Provide solutions and prioritize tasks on the preventative checklist;
  • Coordinate third-party contractors for specialized or large-scale works;
  • Operate various computer-based applications, including word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, and database software;
  • Record maintenance and servicing logs accurately;
  • Ensure main equipment and services are available for essential production;
  • File compliance documentation correctly;
  • Manage contractor databases and previous work records;
  • Book external trades for specialist check-ups and repairs;
  • Achieve effective cost control measures;
  • Raise Purchase Orders and process invoices through to receipts;
  • Respond to invoice queries;
  • Contribute to a safety-first environment and work within Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures;
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures;
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role;
  • Experience in customer service;
  • Ability to communicate with operational staff, team leaders, suppliers, and contractors regarding equipment and services;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a high-volume, high-value environment;
  • Willingness to learn new systems;
  • Ability to work flexible hours and some weekends as required;
  • Capacity to handle emergency calls outside normal office hours;
  • Industry knowledge or experience is preferable but not essential;
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy;
  • Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical equipment and experience in operating CMMS and CAFM systems is ideal but not essential;
  • Understanding of HSE and safe working environments;
