Perth Airport, Australia Perth Airport Full time

Perth Airport is Australia's Western Hub, connecting the people, businesses and communities of Western Australia with the rest of the world.

We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, providing economic, social and cultural benefits to West Australians.

We're investing over $5 billion in new infrastructure to support our airline partners' growth, offering more services to new destinations and an improved customer experience.

Our decade-long plan includes expanding T1 International, building new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey car parks and our first airport hotel.

This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia, hosting all flight services in a central location and giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.

The Perth Airport estate spans 2100 hectares, featuring a $1.5 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings.

We serve a diverse community and play a vital role in strengthening cultural, family and social bonds while supporting business, tourism and leisure travel.

We're currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Airport Infrastructure Project Coordinator – 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of capital works projects, ensuring they meet scope, quality, time, and budget requirements.
  • Manage project risks, produce essential project documentation, and facilitate stakeholder input.
  • Build strong relationships with project owners, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Handle procurement activities, including writing scopes of work, drafting contracts, and managing claims and invoicing.
  • Lead project meetings and submit regular reports.

You'll ensure projects are delivered safely, minimizing harm to employees, suppliers, and the public, while promoting an environmentally conscious culture.

About You:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification or have significant experience in project management, building design, architecture, or engineering.
  • Demonstrated full accountability in managing projects independently.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex facilities such as aviation, healthcare, defence, laboratories, or manufacturing.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Solid commercial understanding of contractual rights and obligations related to projects.
  • Knowledge and application of project controls.
  • Professional approach to project management and team engagement.
  • Ability to influence others effectively and ensure timely development, communication, and monitoring of plans.

Salary: approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional company benefits including free parking.

We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities and a modern approach to work/life integration.

As an equal opportunities employer, we're committed to building an equitable and diverse workforce representative of the community we serve.

We encourage and welcome applications from all communities and backgrounds.
