Key Responsibilities
- Developing, updating, and managing product listings and content on the e-commerce platform, including the addition of new products, modification of existing product details, ensuring accurate pricing and availability, and overseeing product images and descriptions.
- Organizing and categorizing products to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of website content through regular audits to identify errors, broken links, and inconsistencies. Continuously reviewing SEO best practices to enhance product visibility and search rankings.
- Monitoring customer feedback and reviews to address issues and improve the overall user experience.
- Keeping an eye on competitor activities and providing insights to enhance website content, merchandising strategies, and digital marketing efforts.
- Reporting on weekly trade performance and collaborating with the stock merchandise team.
Candidate Profile
To excel in the role of Ecommerce Content Specialist, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related position.
- Practical experience with SEO and web traffic analytics (Google Analytics and social media metrics).
- A genuine passion for enhancing the online consumer experience.
- Flexibility and adaptability to shift between tasks as priorities evolve.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Copywriting Skills: This position requires excellent copywriting abilities to effectively create and maintain product descriptions, promotional content, and other written materials for REO Group's online presence. The capacity to produce compelling, accurate, and engaging copy is essential for optimizing content for search engines and delivering an outstanding user experience. Clear and persuasive communication skills are highly valued in this role.
