We are currently seeking an experienced Transportation Systems Analyst to join our Strategic Transport Modelling team. Based in Sydney, this role will involve working on private and public infrastructure projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing advanced modelling software to simulate and analyze transportation and land use scenarios.

About the Role:

  • Develop studies to assess current and future traffic patterns, travel behavior, and system performance;
  • Utilize advanced modelling software to simulate and analyze transportation and land use scenarios;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate transportation models into broader urban planning efforts and economic analysis;
  • Develop and refine mathematical models to accurately represent complex transportation systems;
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights for infrastructure improvements and policy recommendations;
  • Prepare reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Work closely with engineering, planning, and environmental professionals to address transportation challenges and implement effective solutions.

What You'll Bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, engineering, economics, or other quantitative degrees;
  • Strong collaboration skills, having worked across multi-disciplinary teams involved in infrastructure planning studies, technical reports, and/or business cases;
  • Previous experience and exposure to strategic transport modelling for government and/or the private sector;
  • Well-developed report writing, PowerPoint, and Excel skills;
  • Effective engagement and stakeholder management skills in complex environments.
