We are seeking an experienced environmental intelligence specialist to join our team and contribute to the protection of Victorian environment and health.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Waste Intelligence Network (WIN) as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria. The WIN Environmental Intelligence Specialist will provide high-quality intelligence products to inform decision-making and foster partnerships with state government agencies to prevent harm to the community and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tactical and operational intelligence to support the WIN's strategic priorities and compliance activities.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and storage solutions.
- Engage with WIN agencies and stakeholders to build knowledge and awareness of environmental laws and human health impacts from pollution and waste.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience as an intelligence analyst, preferably in a law enforcement or regulatory environment.
- A relevant tertiary degree and/or postgraduate qualifications in intelligence analysis, criminology, police studies, environmental studies, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative data to deliver high-quality intelligence products.
