Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team at Sandhills Early Childhood Centre in Byron Bay. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children from 0-5 years.

  • Develop and implement daily programs in line with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning framework;
  • Work collaboratively with a team of exceptional educators to create a nurturing and happy environment for children;
  • Engage children through activities and experiences appropriate to their stages of development;
  • Support children's learning and development through play-based approaches;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and children to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care;
  • Minimum 12 months experience working in an early childhood setting;
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning framework;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of children and families;
