Desktop Support Officer - Sunshine Coast

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Officer to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. The successful candidate will provide top-notch technical support to our end-users, ensuring they receive timely and accurate assistance to perform their duties efficiently.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to showcase their expertise in desktop computing, OS troubleshooting, and hardware/software installation. As a Desktop Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving complex technical issues, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Computer OS/Peripherals Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to computer operating systems, peripherals, and printers.
  • Hardware Software Installation: Install and configure hardware and software components, including deployment tools like SCCM.
  • PC Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification: Possess at least two of the following certifications: PC Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support, preferably in a medium- to large-scale enterprise environment.
