About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional mental health services in a community setting. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our services, budget, staff, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Lead the team to deliver safe, high-quality, best-practice mental health services according to program requirements.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize service delivery and share best practices.
  • People and Performance Management: Oversee employee recruitment, performance, training needs, and employee development.
  • Finance and Budgeting: Oversee financial management, including budget compliance and expenditure authorization.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate values-based leadership and promote an open and productive culture.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant degree in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, or similar.
  • Team leadership experience in a complex service delivery setting, preferably in mental health or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in change management, budget management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrates courage in leadership and maintains cultural sensitivity and respect.
Other Requirements
  • Be able to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months).
  • Valid WA driver's license.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Ability to travel to Perth during the first few weeks to meet with all the key stakeholders and occasional travel for meetings (at the organization's expense).
  • Be prepared to be on call (allowance provided) once every 7-8 weeks.
