Occupational Therapist Research Excellence Lead

An experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for research excellence is required to lead research capacity-building across the Occupational Therapy department.
">Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and drive research initiatives within the Occupational Therapy department, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Mentor staff and students in research skill development, fostering a culture of innovation and evidence-based practice.
- Identify, apply for, and manage internal and external research grants, securing funding opportunities.
- Develop and implement quality improvement activities, enhancing patient care and service delivery.
- Evaluate and refine evidence-based clinical guidelines and policies, promoting best practices.
To excel in this role, you will need:
">- Current AHPRA registration and degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Master's or PhD in a relevant area, or be working towards this qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy, recognized as a clinical expert.
- Demonstrated research leadership with a strong publication history, showcasing your expertise.
- Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain, demonstrating commitment to safeguarding patients.
