Project and Program Delivery
KPMG's Project and Program Delivery team creates project controls to analyze, assess, and manage risk in all major projects across all phases of the project lifecycle, from visioning to delivery.
We provide clients with integrated project management, project assurance, project controls, project risk, project delivery, planning, and design, as well as contract compliance advice using data-driven tools and methodologies.
Your Opportunity
Our Commercial and Financial Assurance team is a leader in delivering audit, assurance, control, and advisory services for major projects across the energy, water, and transport sectors nationally.
This team provides a wide range of services and works with or between the client and the contractors delivering major infrastructure projects. Our team members come from various backgrounds, including internal audit, independent financial audit, project assurance, risk management, contract assurance, contracts administration, project controls, and project cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver client-side, government, or advisory contract audit, contract assurance, or control services across infrastructure projects or capital-intensive industries.
- Review programs of work, identify and manage risks, support project procurement, and provide project updates to stakeholders.
- Understand and solve client problems and mitigate risks when delivering projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a project environment, across all stages from concept to delivery, in complex infrastructure programs or capital-intensive industries.
- Tertiary qualifications, such as Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or Economics.
- The ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present and engage with clients.
- The ability to maintain client relationships and build a strong team culture.
- Problem-solving skills to tackle issues and reach conclusions.
- Experience with project schedules, costs estimates, financial systems, and processes across all stages of a project lifecycle.
- Experience with using industry planning, cost, and project management software systems.
