Job Description

The Renewable Energy Compliance Professional plays a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance and operational activities across its renewable portfolio. This includes supporting investigations into potential or actual non-compliance incidents, interpreting and applying regulatory frameworks, and reporting on investigation outcomes.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for applying regulatory compliance in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment, preferably in the electricity industry, knowledge of the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) and/or other statutory requirements.
  • Strong research, analytical, and compliance capability, including sourcing and synthesising evidence, interpreting complex regulations, and delivering both qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Confidence using data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, VBA, and Python to support decision-making and reporting.
