About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and trustworthy individual to work in Alice Springs. This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday - Friday with some additional hours depending on business requirements.

Through our structured mentoring program, you will gain hands-on experience within the despatch, customer service, and sales departments. You will also work closely with our management team to understand the day-to-day running of the branch, with the plan to take on management duties within the next 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting products and provide advice on product-related projects.
  • Despatch: Assist the team with stock control and liaise with customers to ensure products are ready for pick up or transport in a timely manner. Note: Forklift license can be provided for additional duties within the despatch team.
  • Sales: Develop and maintain relationships with trade and retail customers locally and regionally, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to safety rules & contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with department team members and managers to achieve branch targets.

About You

  • You have a car license (essential).
  • You possess a reliable and can-do attitude with a desire to learn.
  • You are a clear and confident communicator with a passion for excellent customer service.
  • You have a careful approach with attention to detail.
  • You are numerically literate.
  • You can work in a team environment and independently (with regional travel at times).
  • You are physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20kg repetitively in an outdoors environment.
  • You exhibit maturity with the desire to lead people in the future.
