We are seeking a seasoned SMSF accounting professional to join our team as an SMSF Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and maintaining SMSFs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to current regulatory standards.
  • Processing transactions and documentation using industry-leading software.
  • Preparing year-end financials, tax returns, and coordinating audit requirements with external partners.
  • Liaising with auditors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
  • Providing high-level support via phone and email to meet client needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in SMSF accounting.
  • Registration with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) is essential.
  • A strong working knowledge of SMSF compliance and reporting is required.
  • BGL Simple Fund 360 experience is highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to work autonomously is necessary.
  • A flexible mindset and comfort in a dynamic environment are key characteristics of a successful candidate.
