Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.

  • This role involves designing the electrical layout of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products, ensuring compliance and site installation compatibility.
  • You will work closely with internal teams to develop power electronics systems that meet our technology roadmap.

The ideal candidate is comfortable designing AC voltage equipment and wiring for BESS products, creating micro grids, loads, and test environments, and providing specialised engineering support in power electronics for battery management.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  1. Bachelor/Masters/PhD in electrical engineering and/or Electrician's Licence.
  2. Experience in BESS (or similar) product creation and/or installation.
  3. Experience with microgrids and microgrid controllers.
  4. In-depth knowledge of LV switchgear, including selection.
  5. In-depth knowledge of key electrical standards such as AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 and AS/NZS 4836.
