Senior Community Social Worker

Job Opportunity: Nectar Healthcare is seeking a skilled Senior Social Worker to join their team in regional Victoria.
About the Role: As a Senior Social Worker, you will work in the Alcohol and Drug service teams, providing support to individuals and communities. This is a contract-based position, requiring a commitment of 3 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide community-based support services to individuals and families
- Work collaboratively with service teams to develop and implement service plans
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions to address social and emotional needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and service providers
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of $55.00 - $75.00
- A standard 38-hour workweek
- Flights to and from contract location will be booked and paid for by the agency
- Accommodation will be provided free of charge
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Social Worker
- Proven experience working in community-based settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
