Digital Web Preservation Specialist

Develop innovative tools for digital collections in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
The role involves working with a small team to design, build, and maintain world-class web archiving systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building new tools for accessing and displaying large digital collections.
- Providing support for existing tools and collaborating on open-source projects.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience with Java and Python programming.
- A comprehensive understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript).
- Qualifications or extensive experience in information technology or related fields.
- A proven ability to collaborate on open-source projects.
- An understanding and experience with web crawlers and web archiving standards (WARC).
As a key member of the team, you will engage with an international community of like-minded developers in web archiving and digital preservation.
