Digital Preservation Specialist Vacancy

We are seeking a digital preservation specialist to drive the ongoing development and implementation of our digital preservation agenda.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of current and future needs of our digital collection.
- Provide high-level support in relation to digital preservation formats, associated metadata and standards.
- Carry out activities associated with the management of unidentified digital formats.
- Design and implement new methods for managing complex digital records.
- Work with information technology staff to oversee and test the effectiveness of our digital storage solutions.
The successful applicant will also have experience managing teams and their performance, as well as proven experience with developing and maintaining professional networks.
A degree in information studies, archival or conservation science, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance.
