We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our purchasing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to transition into a purchasing/buying career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Category Management: Manage assigned categories, including exclusive brands and third-party brands, taking ownership and treating them as your own business.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify opportunities for range expansion, run competitive tenders between suppliers, and negotiate the best possible trading terms and prices.
  • Supplier and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain internal and external relationships to support the product lifecycle, category operations, and optimization.
  • Performance Optimization: Actively manage and monitor sales and inventory levels to achieve company, team, and individual goals and KPIs.
Requirements:
  • A university degree in a relevant field (commerce, business or similar) is required.
  • Practical retail experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships through exceptional communication and engagement.
  • A high level of analytical skills and commercial acumen, being able to recognize opportunities and make quick decisions for the best commercial outcomes.
