Job Title: Executive Director, Development and Partnerships

At Australia Council, we are seeking a visionary leader to drive the development and growth of our creative sector. As Executive Director, Development and Partnerships, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with Australia's creative and philanthropic sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow partnerships with Australia's creative and philanthropic sector through collaboration and co-investment.
  • Oversee and champion our research and evaluation for advocacy, policy, and industry advice, representing the value of Australia's creative sector.
  • Build creative sector development, governance, and capabilities.
About the Role:

This is a pivotal executive leadership role that will be central in driving sector development, providing evidence-based advice to government, and cultivating partnerships with purpose that align with our public value objectives.

You will be the key driver of our industry development strategy, overseeing our research and evaluation efforts that support advocacy and build awareness of the value of arts and creativity.

This role requires a strategic expert who can leverage their expertise to create tangible and meaningful outcomes that drive innovation and create lasting impact across the arts and cultural sector.
