Job Overview

Clinical Support Officers (OPS2) are sought after to join the 2024 casual pools at Wallaroo, Clare and Port Pirie Hospitals. In this role, you will assist in providing an efficient, high-quality support service to clients by performing various clerical duties, including clinical support and general departmental responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clinicians in a multi-disciplinary team by providing clinical support.
  • Carry out programs and activities related to health professional practice.
  • Develop and implement programs in consultation with clinicians.
  • Liaise with clients, families, professional staff, and home support agencies.
  • Perform delegated administration work, including developing service plans and maintaining waiting lists.

Requirements

  • Experience in a health-related field.
  • Experience working with people with varying degrees of disability/illness and complex needs.
  • Experience using personal computers, particularly Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of primary health care and health promotion.
