Freight Transportation Specialist

Seeking a skilled driver to transport goods and materials within the metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities:- Pick up and deliver goods safely, maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Complete scheduled runsheet within your shift and report completed tasks to management.
- Drive safely, following all laws and rules, and maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
- Perform yard work, including deliveries and equipment operation, as required.
- Complete consignment notes and liaise with clients daily.
- Adhere to strict fatigue and safety procedures, communicating issues or concerns to management.
- Follow scheduled jobs as per provided runsheet and maintain communication with management regarding any damage.
- Hold a MR/HR Driving License with at least 5 years of experience.
- Have previous experience working in a sensitive freight environment.
- Demonstrate a positive disposition, high personal standards, and team player qualities.
- Be well-presented, possess excellent communication skills, and focus on customer service.
- Be willing to learn and contribute, with multi-skilled experience in the industry preferred.
