Business Development Director

A vital role exists for an experienced professional who can manage business activities, onboard new team members and develop processes to drive sales growth in Australia.
The successful candidate will contribute to the company's strategic objectives, collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
The responsibilities include coordinating business initiatives, onboarding new franchisees and developing systems to improve operational efficiency.
Close collaboration is required with National Franchise and Network Manager as well as supporting General Manager of Sales. Some interstate travel may be necessary.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
- Prior experience in a related function with a franchise and/or distributor network
- Strong communication, negotiation and time organisation skills with a sense of urgency
- Experience in network local area marketing, auditing, compliance, business development and Franchise Advisory Councils (advantageous but not essential)

Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills is crucial.

Job Specification / Functional Skills:
- Contribute to the development of our company's support strategy
- Guide and support new Franchisees with induction training and administer the Franchise Onboarding process
- Assist the Franchise and Network Manager with franchise documentation, audits, reviews and recruitment
- Support franchise recruitment marketing efforts and update digital platforms with new opportunities
- Develop and manage the Network communication calendar
- Participate in various meetings, conferences, exhibitions & supplier meetings as required
Other Requirements:
Previous experience within a technically based environment would be beneficial. A solution-focused approach will enable you to assist with a range of business issues.
