About the RoleThis position offers an opportunity to shape systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success. Day to day you will;
- Lead and oversee engineering management for water and wastewater projects, from design through to construction.
- Develop and implement systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
- Mentor infrastructure teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources, skills, and training to deliver on project objectives.
- Identify potential risks related to infrastructure and construction and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Proven experience in infrastructure management within the water and wastewater sector.
- Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with hands-on experience in contractor-side delivery highly desirable.
- Background in mechanical engineering highly desirable with strong experience in design management.
- A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success.
- You will be a natural problem solver who enjoys solving complex problems and partnering with clients and project teams to provide innovative solutions.
