
Events and Disaster Recovery Specialist

The role of Events and Projects Officer is pivotal in engaging effectively with various stakeholders to support drought preparedness, build capability, and increase resilience through sharing of information and understanding of effective farm management mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities- Organizing, planning, and reporting on events and projects led on behalf of the SA Drought Hub.
- Preparing for drought events that impact economic growth and community wellbeing.
Requirements:
Possession of a current driver's license and willingness to drive.
Out of hours work and inter/intrastate travel may be required.
You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations when applying for a role.
The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery activities required by government agencies.
