Job Description

The Opportunity

We seek a dynamic and proactive Community Coordinator to collaborate in the development and delivery of community programs and events across Alice Springs.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the development, delivery, and evaluation of community events and initiatives
  • Providing effective staff management and leading a diverse team
  • Engaging with key stakeholders and collaborating across directorates
  • Preparing high-quality reports and presentations
  • Managing grant applications and acquittals

You will need:

  • Minimum two years' experience in community development or related field
  • Proven ability to plan, promote, deliver, and evaluate community projects and events
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships
  • Strong staff management experience and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate great organisation, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to oversee program budgets and exercise sound financial judgement
