Senior Systems Assurance Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Assurance Engineer to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Place Technical Service's team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and assurance of our transport infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support projects in demonstrating compliance with relevant systems and safety assurance processes, engineering standards, and technical and user requirements.
- Perform systems assurance reviews for compliance with systems and safety engineering requirements and demonstrate that the end product is safe.
- Review safety assurance reports, risk assessments, and systems engineering reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that risk assessments, risk controls, and verification of implementation of risk controls are documented and managed by the project throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute best practice data and information to continuously improve the Systems Assurance function.
