Food Service Assistant

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high quality food and provide a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.
  • Provide resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential.
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain.
