Employment Type: Permanent Full Time and Permanent Part Time

Position Classification: Hospital Assistant Grade 2

Remuneration: $57,614.53 per annum ($29.06 per hour) plus allowances and shift penalties and 12% superannuation

Hours Per Week: Full Time is 38 hours, Part Time is 30 hours per week (multiple roles available)

Location: Randwick Campus

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in our hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

• order taking
• meal assembly
• meal preparation and distribution of patient meals
• recording intake
• dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties
• waste management
  
  

In this role, you need to be available every day for shifts on a 7 day rotating roster, shift times vary and start from 6am. There are multiple shifts, you will need to be available from 6am to 8:30pm

Eligibility Requirements

• Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description
• Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents.
• This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines.
