About The Opportunity

Are you a customer-focused individual with a passion for food and a keen eye for detail? We're seeking a Casual Food Service Person to join our busy team in Albury This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital service within our multilevel facility, ensuring our patients and staff receive delicious and well-prepared meals.

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our kitchen operations, assisting with a variety of tasks that keep things running smoothly. You'll need to be energetic and able to maintain a fast pace, as you'll be on your feet for extended periods and walking distances across our facility.

Here's a Glimpse Of What Your Day Might Involve

Basic food preparation: Assisting our team with a range of simple food preparation tasks.

Meal delivery: Delivering meals promptly and courteously towards throughout our multilevel facility.

Maintaining hygiene standards: Adhering to stringent food safety and cleaning protocols within our commercial kitchen environment.

Menu assistance: Helping with menu preparation and understanding.

Tray assembly: Efficiently assembling meal trays with precision and care.

Dishwashing: Ensuring all dishes and kitchenware are cleaned to the highest

standards.

Meeting timeframes: Working efficiently to meet strict meal service deadlines.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

Reliable and punctual.

Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Physically capable of standing for extended periods and walking significant distances.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety.

A positive communicator with a can-do attitude.

Availability

We have a variety of shifts available, including:

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

8:00 AM - 11:00 AM

10:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Please note that weekend and public holiday work will be involved as part of a rotating roster. 8 weeks of rosters are sent out in advance.

• A current Police Record Check.

• Ability and/or willingness to learn the use of technology such as Tablets and touch screen computers to appropriately capture patient meal orders and intake and log completion of activities as per duty schedule respectively.
• Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster, including both morning and afternoon shifts including weekends and public holidays.
