About this role
Manufacturing Sewing Machine Operator at a prominent textile facility in Victoria, Australia.
As a skilled sewing machine operator, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines and maintaining high-quality production standards.
This is a casual position with an average of 25 hours per week. Option for more hours in peak periods. Factory hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining industrial sewing machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
- Collaborating with the production team to achieve optimal workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Identifying and resolving any issues or process improvements to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Adhering to health, safety, and workplace procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a sewing machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment.
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate industrial sewing machines proficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and priorities.
