Regional Accounting Manager

At WiseTech Global, we're transforming the logistics industry through innovative technology solutions. We're seeking a skilled Regional Accounting Manager to join our Sydney HQ team and lead the external and internal financial accounting requirements of our global entities in the LATAM region.

This role will be responsible for managing a small team of direct reports and reporting into the Group Accounting Manager. You'll drive transformation by centralizing and standardizing accounting practices worldwide.

You'll be the main point of contact within the Finance Team for all entities, working closely with business leaders, auditors, and local advisors. You'll understand and explain significant drivers of business performance, assist with budgeting and re-forecasting processes, and work closely with other Regional and Corporate Accounting Managers on Group-level tasks.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Providing timely and accurate financial information for the region and understanding financial performance;
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on planning and executing transformation projects;
  • Strong coaching and team management skills, with a focus on career development;
  • Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on communication with the Finance Team, business leaders, and external resources;
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with an appropriate accounting qualification and 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
