We are seeking an experienced brewer to take on a leadership role in our new brewery in Singapore.
The Role
- Brewing Operations: Manage all aspects of production, including brewing, packaging, utilities management, and quality control.
- Business Development: Contribute to strategic decisions around product lines, pricing, and market positioning.
- Brand Representation: Engage with customers, media, and industry peers, representing the brewery at events and building relationships that drive immediate sales and long-term brand equity.
Requirements
- Technical Excellence: Five-plus years of commercial brewing experience with demonstrable progression in responsibility. Advanced brewing qualifications are essential — IBD Diploma minimum, with preference for Master Brewer certification or relevant MSc.
- Commercial Mindset: Understanding of the economics of brewing — capacity utilization, ingredient sourcing margins, and product mix impacts on cost and positioning.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex brewing concepts to customers, present to industry groups, and build genuine relationships with casual beer drinkers and enthusiasts.
