Job Overview:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to join our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To develop and implement effective financial strategies that align with business objectives.
  2. To ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly close processes.
  3. To manage cash flow, investments, and funding requirements.
  4. To lead and motivate a high-performing finance team.
  5. To provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  6. To maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • A CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven expertise in financial management and reporting.
  • Minimum 13-15 years of finance experience, including 5+ in a senior controllership or managerial capacity.
  • Previous Audit experience in a Big 4 or Mid Tier accounting firm and corporate commercial experience is essential.
  • Experience within corporate services, investor services, professional services, or B2B service industries is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of contract-based revenue models, utilization rates, and service profitability.
  • Good knowledge of ASIC regulations and AFS licensing requirements.
  • Comfortable collaborating with teams across the APAC region, managing work across different time zones.
  • Proven track record in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced, service-driven business.
