Mine Model Coordinator

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency of our mine model.

You will work closely with the Mine Control Supervisor to ensure that system updates are scheduled and maintained, and provide technical assistance to Mine Controllers as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the mine model in Minestar.
  • Ensure spatial data is accurate and up-to-date on a daily basis.
  • Keep machine files and configurations current.
  • Verify high levels of data integrity before compiling daily reports.
  • Run standard operational reports and create new ones as required.
  • Analyse data to drive continuous improvement across all departments.
  • Manage system users and security accesses.
  • Train and mentor supervisors and mine controllers on spatial data maintenance.
  • Administer applications and configure systems.
  • Manage information and report on key metrics.
  • Maintain asset and license registers.
  • Interpret and analyse M* data.
  • Log and maintain Technical Support Cases.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of fleet management and IT systems, ideally obtained through college or tertiary studies.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Fleet Management systems such as MineStar at an advanced user level.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and mine workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to work shifts in remote locations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
