
Rail Operations Specialist

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Driver Assistants working across multiple site locations in the Australian rail industry.
- Initial paid classroom & practical training (38 hours per week).
- Assist in various rail operational tasks, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
About this Role: As a Casual Locomotive Driver Assistant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rail services. You'll work closely with Train Crew, Operational Staff, Maintenance and Terminal teams, as well as Network Control, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day rail operations; Participate in comprehensive initial paid training program; Gain hands-on experience in rail operational tasks.
Requirements: Ability to pass a CAT 1 Rail Medical and fitness assessment; current full Class C or higher Driver's Licence (no restrictions); current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain); valid National Police Clearance(with no court outcomes); basic computer skills; strong literacy and numeracy skills to complete written assessments.
