We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Job Description
As a Disability Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, managing personal care needs, and promoting independence and empowerment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in the disability sector;
- Relevant qualifications in areas such as Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks;
- Current First Aid Certification;
