Legal Support Specialist

The legal support specialist will provide professional assistance to the Investigations Solicitors and Litigation Solicitors within the Professional Standards Division.
About the TeamThe team is responsible for assessing, investigating and resolving complaints, regulating the conduct of solicitors, and protecting the public through investigation, prosecution, and education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support in areas such as:
- Complaints investigation;
- Disclosure and compliance monitoring;
- Litigation;
- External intervention; and/or
- Costs recovery
- Conduct research and review documents and evidence as requested by the Investigations Solicitors or Litigation Solicitors;
- Classification, organisation and management of files, records, documents and evidence;
- Drafting precedent-based documents under supervision;
- Providing support in managing reporting systems and assisting the Director and Deputy Directors as required.
- Studying a law degree or a graduate of a law degree;
- Strong administrative skills gained in a legal support role in a legal practice.
