About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a Facilities Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining site reliability through risk identification and application of risk reduction strategies.

  • Liaise with clients and service providers to ensure smooth operations at the Malaga Data Centre.
  • Maintain building records including procedures and maintenance records.
  • Ensure all work performed on site meets the agreed scope of works and an acceptable level of quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience in subcontractor management, safety, and environmental work practices, as well as maintenance management in an IT and DC environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaising with clients and service providers at the Fujitsu Malaga DC.
  2. Maintaining site reliability through risk identification and application of risk reduction strategies.
  3. Managing subcontractors and supervision including maintenance, repair, and new installations.
  4. Preparing maintenance scopes.
  5. Providing breakdown response and situation management.
  6. Maintaining building records including procedures and maintenance records.
  7. Ensuring all work performed on site meets the agreed scope of works and an acceptable level of quality.
  8. Providing safety management for all sub-contractors, including first aid, isolation of equipment, and safe working methods communication.
  9. Preparing operational documents.
  10. Conducting regular building inspections.
  11. Operating or supervising the operation of building equipment.
  12. Performing minor repairs or installations required for Fujitsu buildings.
  13. Participating in site auditing activities.
  14. Maintaining confidentiality and security of data.
  15. Complying with site and customer specific security policies at all times.
  16. Providing on-call support as part of a scheduled roster.
Requirements and Experience
  • Subcontractor management, safety, and environmental work practices minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Maintenance management in an IT and DC environment.
  • Maintenance of building services.
  • Risk management of critical environments.
  • Electrical or Mechanical trade experience is highly desirable.
