We believe that work experience is an essential part of career development, and we're committed to providing opportunities for students and young people to gain valuable skills and experience in a real-world setting.

Our work experience program is designed to provide a meaningful and beneficial experience for participants. We work with applicants to identify their interests and skills, and match them with a team that aligns with their goals.

What You'll Need
  • A Student Placement Record (for high school students only) or a letter from your educational institution that indicates work experience is a requirement of your course (for uni students only)
  • Your resume
  • Parent/guardian permission (if you're under 18 only)
  • An idea of what team within Council you'd like to undertake work experience in (see list below)
Our Teams

You'll be asked to identify which team you would like work experience in within your application. Our teams include:
