Training Materials Developer

This role involves working in the Biosecurity Training Centre (BTC) development team, designing training materials that will be delivered to officers to build a skilled and agile workforce. The BTC development team creates, designs, reviews, and updates operational training materials delivered to staff across Australia.
Main Responsibilities- Develop, review, and provide support in the creation of training and assessment tools under the direction of the Development Manager.
- Contribute to the implementation of innovation in the design and development of training material.
- Analyse technical information for training material.
- Influence change and contribute to improvements in the quality and consistency of training material.
- Support departmental training initiatives and the design/review of national training material in line with the capability framework.
- Adult learning principles and methodologies using best practices.
- Knowledge of the department's Purpose, objectives, and priorities and how these relate to Biosecurity Operations Division or ability to acquire quickly.
- Ability to use or acquire knowledge to use departmental systems.
