About the Position

The Open Education and Copyright Specialist plays a key role in promoting open education and equitable knowledge sharing at our institution. This position focuses on advocacy, engagement, and collaboration with academics to support open scholarship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on open licensing and copyright to ensure compliance and contribute to a culture of open scholarship.
  • Work across teams to engage with academics and students, promoting open education and inclusive learning practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, educational resources, and professional activities to enhance open scholarship.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in copyright, open scholarship, open education practice, and scholarly publishing in higher education.

Your Qualifications

We seek an experienced professional passionate about open education and copyright. You will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation or a willingness to learn, as well as excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
