Job Title: Technology Lead

Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead to acquire information from multiple source systems into analytical data layers and build over them to provide an analytical platform for business-driven decision making.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzing business and functional requirements of IT requests
  2. Collaborating with architects to develop data models
  3. Owning end-to-end responsibility of data acquisition and transformation pipelines
  4. Working with business to ensure solutions fulfill their needs and are properly tested
  5. Productionalizing developed solutions

Key Relationships:

  1. Working collaboratively with various business stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand
  2. Developing relationships with project delivery and governance teams

Requirements:

  1. Strong shell scripting and SQL skills
  2. Prior experience in data acquisition and warehousing
  3. Knowledge about change data capture and IBM Infosphere
  4. Experience working on cloud platforms like AWS
  5. Prior experience with Amazon database migration service is highly preferred
  6. Significant experience with CD/CI tooling such as Jenkins
  7. Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M is preferred
  8. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or equivalent tools
  9. Experienced in version controlling using Git/Stash
  10. Strong functional testing capabilities in SIT, UAT and Regression Testing
  11. Ability to learn new things quickly and gain expertise in complex business systems
  12. A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodology
