Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the establishment of a new greenfield manufacturing site in Sydney.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their project management expertise and lead multiple high-impact workstreams to successful completion.

The key role of this position is to manage cross-functional relationships, supervise onsite equipment installations, undertake technical design, and manage external contractors and suppliers during onsite removals and installations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Implement business-critical project works on compressed timelines
  • Manage cross-functional relationships to execute project works according to plan
  • Achieve project brief outcomes on-time-in-full (OTIF) in a dynamic environment across two sites
  • Hold external contractors accountable to meet desired cost, quality, and time constraints
  • Build engagement and ownership with site teams
  • Maintain a positive safety culture at all times

We are looking for someone with significant project management experience, ideally with previous experience in commissioning and/or decommissioning a manufacturing site. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and engineering/maintenance experience within manufacturing are also highly desirable.

Other valuable skills include developing and leading Trades and Contractors, as well as having a well-developed understanding of business systems such as ISO, HACCP, Safety, Environmental Management, Quality, and Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP).
