Senior Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Deal Advisory Tax team in Melbourne, Australia.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Real Estate and experience working with corporate clients.

This role involves working on a wide variety of clients and transactions across our national practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Structuring inbound investment structures, taxation of trusts / Managed Investment Trusts
  • Tax due diligence and transaction document review
  • Assisting clients with tax compliance, including preparing and/or reviewing trust and company tax returns
  • Researching and analysing technical tax issues
  • Correspondence with ATO and FIRB
  • Supporting business development initiatives and proposals
  • Mentoring, developing and leading teams

You will be part of a dynamic team working on significant transactions in the Australian market. Our clients cover various sectors, including Real Estate, Private Equity and Infrastructure.

  • Transactional experience as a tax professional
  • A commitment to client service with a proven track record of developing strong relationships
  • Strong tax technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supervise and mentor team members
