Assistant Manager – Taxation Services

Careerlink People Solutions, a leading recruitment agency, has partnered with a top-tier accounting and advisory firm to recruit an experienced Assistant Manager for their Taxation Services division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional to join an organization where they can grow and develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining client relationships and engagement
  • Providing tax consulting services to various divisions of the practice
  • Offering general tax advice to clients
  • Preparing Private Binding Rulings and Tax Effect Accounting Calculations
  • Assisting with international tax matters, including tax advice on expansion offshore and Controlled Foreign Company regimes
  • Supporting M&A transactions and restructures
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Delivering technical training to the tax division and other departments within the practice
  • Representing the firm on professional body committees, such as The Tax Institute

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Completed or working towards a CA/CPA, CTA, or MTax qualification
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in a big four or mid-tier tax division is desirable
