We are seeking a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our team at a well-respected healthcare facility in Bongaree, Woorim, and Banksia Beach.
- This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with our team of general practitioners to deliver comprehensive patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering injections, wound dressings, and other clinical procedures. They will also be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, collaborate with our team of general practitioners, and contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Wound management and treatment.
- Providing vaccinations for adults and children.
- Handling emergencies and triage.
- Performing venesection's and biopsies.
- Conducting ECG and spirometry tests.
- Ear syringing and sterilization of instruments.
- Health management and assessments.
- Preparing kits and trolleys for minor surgical procedures.
- Covid and flu vaccination clinics.
- Inventory and stock management.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Previous experience in a GP practice preferred but not essential.
- A good working knowledge of Windows and MS Office.
- Experience with Best Practice and previous accreditation experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals.
- Able to commit to required hours, including after hours.
