Intermediate Accountant Role

We are seeking a motivated and curious Intermediate Accountant to join our Business Services team. This role is ideal for a confident junior accountant ready to step up or an established intermediate accountant looking for more variety, responsibility, and real support for their career.

The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team working on a range of SME clients, across industries, delivering accounting, tax and advisory work that matters. They will prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and IAS, assist with tax planning, management reporting, and cash flow forecasting, collaborate with seniors and managers to deliver great outcomes for clients, work on companies, trusts, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals, and use Xero, Xero Practice Manager and other cloud-based tools to complete work efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you will need 2–3+ years' experience in public practice accounting, be working towards or recently commenced CA or CPA, be proficient in Xero, and confident with Excel (pivot tables, formulas etc.), have great communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team where you're genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities:
