Job Overview

We are seeking a professional to manage waste contracts, support strategic project delivery, and provide administrative and customer service support at the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate strategic deliverables in conjunction with management, guiding projects that align with Council's goals, supporting internal procedures, and tracking program delivery.
  • Provide project management administration support across the centre including project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Conduct research, analysis, statistical data, and data management activities for improved business unit outcomes.
  • Manage contractor administration in conjunction with management, preparing and delivering contract management plans, overseeing deliverables, and working towards continuous improvement.
  • Lead, support, and manage a team to ensure daily administration tasks are carried out, including contamination management, purchase orders, invoicing, email inbox, response to requests, reporting, monitoring, record keeping, applications, agendas/minutes, and general administration tasks as required.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Business, Business Administration, Project Management Practice, and/or related discipline and/or demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Training Card.
  • Demonstrated experience, skills, and knowledge relevant to the role, including but not limited to: Business administration; Project management, including project planning, and deliverables; Organisational and time management skills; ability to organise and prioritise workloads, meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages.
  • Experience leading and working effectively in a team and independently.
