Reliability and Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Reliability and Maintenance Manager to lead our Taylor's Road Maintenance Team.

The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker with the passion to drive change, managing all aspects of reliability and maintenance of large-scale packing lines. This challenging role is a crucial part of the site's Management Team and requires effective working with the site's Production Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of skilled employees and contractors, motivating them to achieve world-class reliability
  • Engaging and educating your team, driving growth and improving problem-solving skills
  • Providing leadership to ensure that the site meets all WHS requirements
  • Ensuring the plant operates to forecasted run speeds
  • Providing breakdown maintenance troubleshooting and support
  • Implementing preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance schedules
  • Ensure maintenance planning processes for routine and shutdown work
  • Maintaining appropriate stores/spares
  • Reviewing equipment failures and implementing improvements
  • Manage the reliability programs

Requirements:

  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Reliability Manager
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining a production plant
  • Demonstrated technical background in reliability continuous improvement
  • A proven track record in driving manufacturing excellence, change management, and performance
  • Expertise in leading functional teams to resolve plant issues, breakdowns, process inefficiencies
  • Ability to gain, develop, and harness trust and buy-in from all site employees and stakeholders through collaborative and transparent communication
