Job Overview

The role of Maintenance Manager involves leading the maintenance function at a busy manufacturing site. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for keeping plant and equipment running at peak performance, reducing downtime, and building a strong preventative maintenance culture.

  • Lead, mentor, and support the maintenance team
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and minimize downtime
  • Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Oversee CMMS use, schedules, and asset management
  • Manage contractor performance and compliance
  • Partner with production and operations to align priorities
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance
  • Support capital planning and improvement projects

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor in manufacturing, with strong technical knowledge across plant and equipment maintenance. They should be familiar with CMMS systems and maintenance planning, skilled at leading and motivating teams, and possess a strong problem-solving ability and practical execution focus.

A background in plastics, polymers, packaging, or FMCG is desirable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact during a period of investment and growth, working with a supportive leadership team with room to grow.
